While at Betterdays, we created this Water film made with Baron & Baron for Harry Winston’s new digital campaign. Water by Harry Winston brings fine jewelry on a journey to the very heart of nature to discover the vast incarnations of water by focusing on its variations in color, movement and form.

It is only fitting that Baron & Baron took the lead in creating a prestigious and elegant new digital campaign for Harry Winston. Betterdays, my former company, was brought in to direct and produce the groundbreaking collaboration with master plumassière, Nelly Saunier, as she unveils the unspeakably beautiful process for creating these timeless pieces.

Betterdays films Saunier, one of the few remaining feather designers, as she practices her nearly extinct art in her studio in Paris, France. Saunier’s feather design is contrasted with the work of one of Harry Winston’s master watchmakers as the two processes become one. Set against classical music, the patience and endurance of the two craftsmen gracefully reveals itself on a bed of the finest feathers encircled and juxtaposed with meticulously cut stones. The result is a mesmerizing and captivating piece that shows the height of perfection that is Harry Winston’s timepieces and craftsmanship.
