Music producer and DJ, K?D wanted to create a six part music video in manga style where each part could stand on its own, but was ultimately meant to be part of a cohesive narrative. He had a concept and a set of characters he had sketched already, and we worked with him to build out his world and refine the story so that it didn't require any text in order to follow. And then of course we had to make the actual art and animate it all. Below is what we came up with.
