This Georgia-based EDM music festival wanted to differentiate themselves from some of the other fantasy themed festivals out there, and so they asked us to craft an origin story for them that would give their festival some “heart” and would add something inspiring to their already visually impressive set. We interviewed the creators to find out what was really important to them. Love, community, freedom, respect were their core values.

We wrote a story and turned it into a graphic novel that served as the fictional backstory to their unique show. We reinvented the two founders (who are real life husband and wife) as star crossed lovers that found a new beginning together in a far off galaxy. This is Tears of a Fallen Star:
