Scope:
Pegboard Nerds, an electronic dance music group, already had some animated characters they had created as avatars, but they wanted to update and evolve them beyond just avatars. It was up to us to give them a story. We worked with the DJ duo and drew inspiration from some of their favorite movies and books to create a unique, yet also familiar, story that fit with their personalities and brand image.
The Story
Revered by some, envied by others, few have seen the success that Michael and Alex’s adventures have garnered. But when a cataclysmic event breaks the very heart of the universe, tearing the fabric of space and time, their realities are thrown upside down and inside out. The two scavengers must now find a way to restore order to the galaxies and return things to the way they once were.
